SOME GOLDEN STATES is a journey into making the big, fat garden grow amid earthquakes, the AIDS crisis and Avenue B. There’s the search for home via sex with my backyard in Whittier, CA (to be destroyed later by earthquake, of course). Tim goes on a hitchhiking quest for a better world and confronts romance and death on the Lower East Side.
